Felix Says No! A Zoo Show

Setting
Set in the Snavely Zoo, this play follows the conniptions
of various zoo animals as they learn that their beloved Zookeeper
Phyllis is about to loose her job. Katie the Kangaroo, the school
of Swishy Fish, and Norbert the Elephant are among the original
schemers who try to devise a plan that will salvage Phyllis’ position
at the Zoo. All plans are foiled however, by the somewhat negative
animal monarch Felix the Lion who finds fault in almost every idea.
Lesson
The plot offers a challenge to each audience member to grow
into being more responsible for their own actions and words. Focuses
on cause and effect, duty, cooperation, and positive thinking, audiences
are encouraged to “Take on task- do it right- do it fast and don’t
give up until the think gets done!”
